Hesperus Ski Area is small but mighty fun offering the only night skiing and riding in Southwest Colorado! Families will love this small resort with it’s tubing hill, ski and snowboard lessons, Bug Out Terrain Park, snowcat skiing, and on-site rentals. Hesperus Ski Area is west of Durango with 26 trails on 60 skiable acres; no getting lost here.
The double chair lift takes you up to the 8,880 foot summit where there are green, blue and black diamond runs. The Marmot Hill tubing area is on the east side of the lower mountain. It’s the perfect pitch for snow tubing. Lanes provide you the opportunity to have a friendly race with family and friends. Between the two is the terrain park for those riders who like the challenge of freestyle.
The Hesperus Ski Area is near Hesperus, Colorado, in the southwestern part of Colorado. It is along US 160 between Durango and Mancos, Colorado.
