ROCKY MOUNTAIN ADVENTURES offers beginning to advanced level 1/2-day and full-day whitewater adventures on the Cache La Poudre (closest rafting adventure to Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park).

THE CACHE LA POUDRE RIVER, northwest of Fort Collins, is Colorado's first and only designated National "Wild and Scenic" River. You will get a thrilling whitewater rafting experience in a pristine and protected environment.

Kayak Instruction

Kayaking is a more intimate experience on the river. Summer and Winter classes teach you the skill set that provides a lifetime of enjoyment. We teach kayaking and will rent them out as well.

ROCKY MOUNTAIN ADVENTURES' Kayak School provides you with the opportunity to learn the dynamic sport of kayaking in a controlled environment and supportive atmosphere. Our skilled and experienced Instructors teach a variety of courses from beginner, intermediate, and advanced on and off the river.

Kayak Roll Class @ Rocky Mountain Adventures: Rafting Trips, Kayak Instruction, Gear Rentals and Retail Shop in Fort Collins - Classes teach you the important technique of rolling. Instruction is primarily focused on the sweep roll. Sessions include a one hour session in the classroom and two 1.5 hour separate pool/pond sessions: Call 970-493-4005 for Group Class Schedule May 21 and 28, 2023.

Kayak Open Pool Sessions @ EPIC Pool - Join the staff Rocky Mountain Adventures and learn to Kayak in the safety of an indoor pool: Sundays from 3-5pm February to May, 2023.

Two Day Fast Track Class on the Poudre River and a nearby Natural Area pond - One intensive kayak class - Learn kayak roll, paddling techniques, and on-river instruction, you navigate class II rapids in short order. Bring a packed lunch: 8:30am-3:30pm June 17-18, June 24-25, July 15-16, August 5-6, August 19-20, 2023.
