Join us at the High Country Stampede Rodeo for a "Buckin' Good Time". Named the "Best New CPRA Rodeo in 2021" by the Colorado Pro Rodeo Association and the "Best Mountain Rodeo" by Mountain Living Magazine.
The High Country Stampede is all about having a good time and keeping our western traditions alive. From Bareback Riding and Trick Riding to Barrel Racing, Bull Riding, and more, we have fun and excitement for all!
The Rodeo is a go Rain or Shine.

SATURDAY PROGRAM TIMES
- 10:00 am CPRA Slack (extra competitions that won't fit in the performance) FREE ADMISSION
- 3:00 pm Junior Rodeo
- 4:00-9:00 pm Wild Horse BBQ
- 6:30 pm Wild West Stampede Pre-Rodeo Event
- 7:00 pm CPRA Performance Rodeo and mutton bustin', sheep scramble, ranch bronco riding, HCSR local ladies barrel racing and ladies pole bending.
RODEO Events
Bareback Riding, Saddle Bronc Riding, Ranch Bronc Riding, Trick Riding, Breakaway, Tie Down Roping, Team Roping, Steer Wrestling, Bull Riding, Barrel Racing, Goat Tying, Pole Bending and Specialty Acts.
HCSR Local Ladies Barrel Racing will follow the CPRA Barrel racing Event
HCSR Ladies Pole Bending will be under the lights following the bull riding!
FOR YOUR YOUNG BUCKS AND COLTS
FREE DURING THE PERFORMANCE: Mutton Bustin' for kids 5 years old and under; Sheep Scramble for kids between the ages 6-12.
YOU WON'T WANT TO MISS: Old West Night, Dress Up Contest OR Family Fun Night with lots of fun activities for the young buckaroos.
Tickets for High Country Stampede Rodeo
Adults $15; Children 6-12, Military and Seniors 62+ $10; 5 and under Free; Free Parking. Ticket prices may change at the discretion of the WPHA Board.
WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE: Seating available for Wheel chairs, please mention your need when buying tickets.
FOOD and DRINKS: Wild Horse BBQ starts at 4pm till around 9pm Stop by the "Watering Hole" for your beverage needs. I scream, you scream, we all scream for ICE CREAM at the "Ice Box" Ice Cream shop. Please Note: BBQ not included in rodeo admission.
Great Entertainment for All Ages -- Families, Groups, Family Reunions, and Wedding Parties; Ask about a Discount for groups of 10 or more.
