Learn about the agricultural history of Boulder County -- Come to the farm!
Come to the farm! Enjoy the rural setting and mountain views while learning about the agricultural history of Boulder County. Stroll through the grounds and wind your way through farm buildings, antique farming equipment and tractors.
The big red barn houses interactive exhibits for all ages to enjoy -- including a real tractor cab! Visitors can also take a peek into the past inside the restored farmhouse.
HOURS: Open Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 10am-5pm, April through October. From November through March we only open the first Saturday of the month, 10am-5pm.
ADMISSION IS FREE.
TOURS: Tours of the site are offered on Friday-Saturday-Sundays at 11am. Groups of 8 or more may request a guided tour for any day or time, year-round.
The center is located at 8348 Ute Highway 66, west of Longmont.

EVENTS AT THE AGRICULTURAL HERITAGE CENTER
Hammering at the Farm -- Blacksmithing Demonstration
June 10, 2017, 10am-1pm -- On Saturday watch blacksmiths forge new tools. Blacksmithing was a common trade that supported agriculture, mining and construction in creating and repairing all things iron and steel.
Sunrise Photo Session
June 17, 2017, 5-7am -- On Saturday enjoy taking photographs at sunrise in the quiet morning before the center opens to the public.
Barnyard Critter Day
June 25, 2017, 10am-3pm -- On Sunday come to the farm and see sheep, horses, pigs, cows and live birds of prey up close while learning about domestic animals and even wildlife found on the farm.
Fun on the Farm
August 4, 2017, 9:30am and 10:30am -- On Friday bring the family for farm themed stories and activities for kids aged 2-6 years old.
Crafts and Trades of Olden Days
September 10, 2017, 10am-3pm -- On Sunday learn about old fashioned jobs and the traditional arts and crafts that went into making what was needed for life down on the farm. There will be games and demonstrations and several “make and take” activities as well.
Goats Galore Meet and Greet
October 8, 2017, 10:30am-12:30pm -- On Sunday join the Goats Galore 4-H club and their goats for a drop-in program all about goats. Learn about raising goats, different breeds, housing and feed requirements, and see a live milking demonstration.
