BIRCO RV PARTS & SERVICE: A Complete RV Parts & Service shop where our experienced technicians can fix your recreational vehicle! Chassis service and repair right here. We also perform dirt work and septic system installations for persons building in the area. George has 40 years of knowledge and advice to share with people moving to the area.
NEED PROPANE: BIRCO pumps propane (LP Gas) on-site.
DUMP STATION: For folks traveling through Walsenburg stop at BIRCO to empty your tank for $15.
Walsenburg has a small-town atmosphere with a few good restaurants and several places where fishermen can land a hook.
DAKOTA CAMPGROUND: A great stop before leaving the state or heading to the mountains, building your retirement home in the area, or if you're looking for a more relaxing, less crowded vacation. WiFi is now available throughout the entire campground!
All RV Sites are level, 60 feet long pull-thrus with city water, electric (30 & 50 amp), sewer, and wide for slide-outs on both sides. Separate tenting area with shelter, picnic table and a firepit (when allowed). We have a newly remodeled bathroom and shower facility that also houses our laundry area (washers and dryers). Kids will enjoy our playground. Propane refills available on-site.
NEARBY ACTIVITIES: Water park, swimming, boating, fishing, golf course, several history museums, art galleries, the Museum of Friends, a contemporary art museum, and library with free internet access. The movie theater features first run movies and is a venue for music and comedy throughout the year.
PLAY IN SPANISH PEAKS COUNTRY: Explore a land rich in history, natural wonders and artistic inspiration. Drive the Highway of Legends Scenic Byway to discover the charming towns of Walsenburg, La Veta, Cuchara and Trinidad. At Lathrop State Park spend a day boating, fishing, hiking or a round of golf. Spanish Peaks and Raton Mesa are National Landmarks in Southern Colorado that offer excellent trails for your family to explore.
