CABINS AT CHALK CREEK has historic log cabins with modern fully equipped kitchens and bathrooms near Mt Princeton Hot Springs. (Please, bring your own linens.) This Mountain paradise surrounded by the San Isabel National Forest is at 8,500 feet elevation in Chalk Creek Canyon between Mt. Antero and Mt. Princeton with great off-roading on old mining and railroad routes.

FISH right here: A trout stream runs behind our cabins. There are two trout lakes within one mile. Scenic and float fishing trips are available in Buena Vista.

VACATION ACTIVITIES: Horseback riding, hiking, fishing, golfing, rafting, kayaking, 4-wheeling, and hunting.

LOCATION: Cabins at Chalk Creek is close to the quaint towns of Buena Vista and Salida, Colorado. 6 miles South of Buena Vista, then 8 miles West on County Road 162 in Chalk Creek Canyon.

DRIVE TIMES: Colorado Springs and Pueblo are 2.5 hours. Denver is just under 3 hours. Durango, Fort Collins and Grand Junction are 4 hours. Albuquerque, NM is 5.5 hours. Amarillo, TX is 7 hours. Flagstaff, AZ and Salt Lake City, UT are 9 hours.
