SUMMER HORSEBACK RIDES
Our outfit is open May through October with several trail ride options: from one hour ranch rides to all day excursions with a lunch in Colorado's Back Country. Our 1 and 2 hour rides are an easier stroll through the mountains, while our 3, 4, 6, and 8 hour rides include a little more challenging terrain and get you deeper into the Back Country. We make sure our horses and the ride fit Your Experience and Comfort level. We will share our knowledge of local wildlife, flora, fauna as well as the history of Redstone, CO and the Coal Basin Area.
Our rides are custom tailored to fit you and your group only; no mixing of groups with us. You get a private ride to yourself; we are the only ones in the Eagle, Vail, Aspen, Roaring Fork and Crystal River Valleys.

HORSE-DRAWN CARRIAGE DINNER RIDE
NEW FOR 2022! Avalanche Outfitters has teamed up with Slow Groovin BBQ of Marble, CO and Pair A Dice Carriages of Aspen, CO to bring you the dinner experience you have been waiting for! Start your evening with a Horse-Drawn Carriage Ride to our mountain meadow where you'll be greeted by a campfire, and serenaded by our meandering creek. Enjoy a classic Colorado dinner by Slow Groovin BBQ. Available: June through August on Sunday and Monday nights. Two seatings: 5PM and 7PM for up to 20 people.

WINTER SLEIGH RIDES
Enjoy an afternoon or evening horse-drawn sleigh ride from the Historic Redstone Inn along Main Street. This magical ride allows you to cuddle close to keep warm as you enjoy this winter wonderland ride through the snow. Tour the Historic Village of Redstone, with a team of horses taking you along.
OVERNIGHT PACK TRIPS, FULLY GUIDED HUNTS and DROP CAMP HUNTS
Overnight Pack trips with a 2 night minimum are offered in the Avalanche Creek Drainage in July and August. Ride horses along Avalanche Creek to one of our Montana style wall tent camps. Pack trips include horse transportation, all meals, guides and fishing experiences. These overnight trips are tailored to your group and are fully customizable.
Avalanche Outfitters offers first-class fully guided and drop camp hunts for elk, bear, mule deer, bighorn sheep, and mountain goats. In White River National Forest and Maroon Bells Wilderness Area (all roadless areas -- hiking and horseback only). All hunting camps are private. Fully Guided Hunts include guides, horseback pack in and out, camp, camp accessories, food and cook. Drop Camps include camp, camp accessories, horseback pack in and out, and game pack out. All camps are booked privately for your group and will be customized.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS to Avalanche Outfitters at Redstone Stables is between Glenwood Springs and Aspen, Colorado. From I-70 take exit 116 onto CO82 to Carbondale for 12 miles, turn south onto CO133 south for 16 miles, the stables will be on your right.
