Year round family fun on horseback or snowmobile! YOU MAY SEE ELK! Tours are beginner friendly and more adventuresome for the experienced. The Fun Begins Here! In summer and fall enjoy horse trail rides and overnight pack trips into the National Forest. In winter roam through open fields and along forest trails on a one- or two-hour snowmobile tour.

The scenery is magnificent in the majestic San Juan Mountains near Pagosa Springs, Colorado. And one of the best ways to enjoy a backcountry experience is on a guided snowmobile tour or on horseback with an experienced wrangler.

We offer guided 1 and 2 hour tours, just 1 mile from Wolf Creek Ski area! Half and Full day adventures on a variety of locations within the spectacular San Juan National Forest.

SnowCountry Adventure guides are professional, experienced backcountry snowmobilers, who know the less traveled trails and trail conditions, know where elk and other wildlife might be found, and know how to handle any situation that might arise while on the trail. Let a SnowCountry Adventure guide deal with the trails, the snowmobiles, and your safety, while you concentrate on just having fun!

SnowCountry Adventure's late model Yamaha two-up touring sleds are ideal for families, first-timers, and even experienced enthusiasts. Our tours are beginner friendly -- no prior snowmobile experience is necessary for you to have plenty of fun. SnowCountry Adventure currently offers both one and two hour trips, and each offers a unique experience, with winding forest trails and deep powder fields. And because of the high elevation, SnowCountry Adventure can typically operate from November to April.

With experienced guides, and modern, well maintained equipment, a SnowCountry Adventure tour provides outstanding family outdoor fun and excitement in beautiful Pagosa Springs, Colorado -- where the snow is plentiful, the scenery is sublime, and the snowmobiling is awesome!
