Which River is Best For You?
That depends on your group. If a wilderness trip sounds intriguing, and you like great whitewater, then you might try the NORTH PLATTE RIVER, (Class III-IV Whitewater, located in northern Colorado and into Wyoming).
If this is your first time rafting, and you are apprehensive about rafting, or have young children, then we would recommend the COLORADO RIVER (Class II+ Whitewater located within close proximity to Denver, Summit County, Steamboat Springs, Winter Park, Silver Creek-Sol-Vista, Grand Lake and the Rocky Mountain National Park).
If you prefer thrilling whitewater, even if it's your first time, then we recommend the ARKANSAS RIVER'S Brown's Canyon and Bighorn Canyon, (Class III-IV Whitewater). For the more experienced rafter, the incredible Royal Gorge, (Class V Whitewater). Starting from beneath the spectacular Collegiate Peaks to the awe-inspiring Sangre de Cristo Mountains, this Arkansas River Valley offers over one hundred miles of spectacular whitewater.
