Four to five bedrooms and three bathrooms within a comfortable western-style house built in 2000. Knotty pine wood floors, trim and cabinets and southwestern accents. All the amenities of home including a washer/dryer in the mud room, a separate dog room (with their own separate doggie door!) a Great Room, a complete kitchen with glass, silver and flatware; plus a Family room with a Kitchenette. Enjoy the gardens, stream and ponds from the front porch. Swim in the private lake near the house, take a hike on the property and explore the rock formations. Horseback ride, four-wheel or hike on the bordering public lands and search for arrowheads and petroglyphs. Spacious horse corral with shelter, mineral salt and watering tank ready to go.
Within 10 minutes to additional public lands off Highway 90 with amazing views of the San Juan's. Telluride is a 50 minute drive in the summer and 1.25 hours in the winter. Check out Telluride's film, wine and art festivals! Endless day-trip designations including Ouray and their hot springs pool, Crested Butte and even Glenwood Springs and Aspen are within two hours.
Montrose is rapidly developing with Target, JC Penneys, Sportsman Warehouse and many wonderful restaurants all available. Owner is a commercial real estate appraiser and can provide maps, guidance and statistics of the area.
