Arkansas River Retreat is one mile north of Buena Vista, this duplex cabin is 900 square feet with two bedrooms, living room, fully equipped kitchen, and bath and shower rooms. Amenities include direct TV, carpeting, patio, grill and private circle drive for your ATV or snowmobile. We supply the towels, linens, soaps and paper products. Bring your clothes, food and camera.

Walk out your backdoor and follow the short river path to the Arkansas River. You will delight in the 300 feet of private river access for your exclusive use: raft, fish or gold pan. KAYAKERS this is the perfect place to put in and take out. The beach area along the river is great for soaking in the sun, splashing in the river or casting your line.

There is a tent site, firepit, and picnic table on river for your use.

Public land is within walking distance there are old railroad tunnels, spectacular views of the valley and fourteen thousand foot mountains. The "Four Mile Area" is known for hiking, ATVing, Jeeping and rock Climbing.

Rates are for 4 people. Sleeps 8. Great for families. Open all year.
